Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Juba, South Sudan, for a Finance Officer. The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with organizational and donor requirements. The role includes monitoring budgets, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data to support decision-making. The Finance Officer will collaborate with various teams to ensure the financial health and accountability of the organization, while maintaining clear and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in preparing and managing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Solid foundation in Finance and Analytical Skills for effective decision-making
- Excellent Communication skills to engage with team members and stakeholders
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- Knowledge of financial systems and tools, including accounting software
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the NGO or humanitarian sector
- Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements in a non-profit environment
