We are looking for a meticulous and adaptable Financial Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. In this role, you will provide essential support for the administration of a government loan program, with a focus on tracking activities, maintaining financial models, and ensuring accurate reporting. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who excel in data analysis, possess strong organizational skills, and are committed to delivering precise and timely results.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze and apply the structure and funding mechanics of a government loan program to ensure compliance with program requirements.
• Update and maintain financial models and tracking tools to monitor program performance.
• Oversee the distribution of program funds, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established guidelines.
• Reconcile loan balances and verify consistency across various systems and reports.
• Assist in preparing and distributing loan statements to borrowers, providing clear and accurate information.
• Respond to borrower inquiries, addressing questions related to balances and statements professionally.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams to maintain data integrity.
• Generate routine reports and support ongoing tracking activities for program management.
• Contribute to ad hoc data updates and provide program support as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in financial analysis, operations, or program support.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data reconciliation and analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when managing structured data.
• Ability to quickly learn and adhere to established processes and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
• Familiarity with loan programs, fund disbursement processes, or financial tracking systems is a plus.
