Role Summary
A sharp, detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys being close to the numbers and equally close to the business — someone who can make sense of data, tell a story with it, and help leaders make better decisions. You'll work across financial planning, reporting, controllership, and capital evaluation — giving you broad exposure to how a fast-growing MedTech company operates financially.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Participate actively in annual budgeting cycles — working with business teams to build credible, well-grounded financial plans.
- Support MIS activities including margin analysis and variance analysis to help leadership track performance against plan.
- Assist in preparing regular management reports such as the Sales Snap, product and regional profitability analyses, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity.
Controllership & Reporting
- Manage Bank Reconciliation Statements as part of routine financial hygiene.
- Assist in monthly books closing activities — reconciliations, journal entries, and ensuring books reflect an accurate financial position.
- Support the preparation of audit schedules for internal and statutory audits, as well as submissions to external stakeholders including banks and government departments.
- Assist in the preparation of Annual Financial Statements and other financial reports as required.
Capital Allocation
- Evaluate investment proposals by building sound financial models and analyses to support decision-making.Collaborate with business teams to track R&D project progress, including profitability analysis and timely reporting on project status.
- Drive end-to-end working capital optimization, with a strong focus on receivables, payables, and inventory management
Process Simplification & IT Automation
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support the implementation of IT tools such as CRM platforms, BI Tools and expense management systems.
- Identify opportunities to streamline finance workflows through automation and smarter use of technology.
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
- Semi-qualified or Qualified CA / Inter CA/ MBA Finance with approximately 6 years of relevant experience in finance roles.
- Relevant experience working in manufacturing Industry.
- Hands-on experience in FP&A, financial reporting, and month-end closing activities.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong ability to prepare and present MIS reports that drive business decisions.
- Adept in partnering with Business Heads to track and drive KPIs.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP, along with strong MS Excel skills.
- Clear oral and written communication — able to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across functions and manage workstreams independently.
