Kawartha Lakes Fire Services is seeking a dedicated Fire Prevention Inspector. You will be responsible for enforcing fire regulations, conducting inspections, and facilitating educational programs throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver fire safety education programs to the public
• Conduct inspections of buildings for compliance
• Issue compliance orders and support legal proceedings
• Assess and evaluate fire protection plans
• Maintain knowledge of fire prevention legislation
Requirements:
• Minimum three years’ fire inspection experience
• Post-secondary diploma in Fire Prevention or equivalent
• Current Fire Prevention Officer certification
• Valid Ontario Class ‘G’ Driver’s Licence
