Position: First Nations Policy Analyst Role
Contribute to First Nations advocacy efforts as a Policy Analyst with the Assembly of First Nations. Focus on health policies and community engagement to drive meaningful change.
In this office-based role, reporting to the Director, you will leverage 3-5 years of experience in policy analysis with a strong understanding of Indigenous issues. Your responsibilities include researching policies, evaluating existing regulations, and collaborating with various partners to inform advocacy strategies. Your work will directly support the advancement of First Nations health priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of First Nations health policies

• Propose recommendations based on research and feedback

• Assess policies to identify areas for improvement

• Collaborate with stakeholders across sectors

• Create reports and presentations summarizing findings
Requirements:

• Relevant undergraduate degree required

• 3+ years of policy analysis experience

• In-depth knowledge of First Nations governance and rights

• Competence in statistical software and data analysis

• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
