Master Electricians Australia (MEA) is the national voice for electrical contractors, representing more than 3,000 members across Australia. As the industry continues to evolve, MEA is focused on strengthening its influence, enhancing member value, and expanding the impact of its advisory services.
Reporting to the CEO, this is a senior leadership role responsible for leading MEA’s national safety, technical, workplace relations and policy/advocacy functions—shaping industry direction while ensuring members receive practical, high-quality support.
The Opportunity
- Oversee workplace relations, technical and field advisory services
- Contribute to the evolution and growth of member-focused services
- Oversee the national advocacy function, working closely with MEA’s National Policy Lead and CEO
- Build and maintain influential relationships with governments, regulators and industry bodies across Australia
- Partner with the CEO and Executive to deliver organisational strategy
About You
- Deep experience within the electrotechnology or closely aligned industry
- Strong background in policy, regulatory or advisory environments
- Proven experience as a strategic leader of multi-disciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders across government and industry
- Commercially minded, with the ability to balance member value and organisational outcomes
