Our client, a growing international real estate development company, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead large-scale property development projects in South Africa. This is a new leadership role created due to expansion
This executive role will oversee the full lifecycle of real estate developments, from land acquisition and planning through to construction, sales, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the strategy and execution of major real estate developments
• Manage full-cycle projects including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments
• Oversee investment, planning, construction, cost control, and marketing
• Build and lead a high-performing leadership team
• Manage relationships with government stakeholders, partners, and investors
Requirements
✔ At least 10 years of full-chain working experience in the real estate industry, with overseas working experience.
✔ Proven full-cycle development project experience
✔ Experience delivering two or more large-scale development projects (Construction area ≥ 500000 ㎡)
✔ Senior leadership experience at regional/company level preferred
