We are currently seeking a qualified, goal-driven

and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Governance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing of the policy and procedure framework, platform, version control, distribution of notices and ratification and uploads.

Requirements and Experience

  • Grade 12 (NQF4)
  • 5 years prior experience in a similar role
  • LLB / Chartered Secretary Qualifications
  • Understanding of legal and governance frameworks
  • Ability to interpret statistical data and derive conclusions
  • Organizing skills
  • Cope with stress
  • Work well under pressure and with large volumes
  • Medical Industry knowledge would be beneficial
  • Must have own transport and be able to travel if required to do so
  • The individual must be mature and able to communicate effortlessly with the Leadership of the Company

Key Performance Areas

  • Company Secretarial Function – CIPC Updates, Registrations, Annual Return submissions, Drafting of MOI's. Shareholders Agreements, Share Transfers/sales, Statutory recordkeeping, Board Resolutions and Minutes.
  • Governance Function – Management of the Policy and Procedure framework, platform, version control, distribution of notices and ratification and uploads. Preparation of the Integrated report.
  • B-BBEE Function – Management and Facilitation of verification audits, the updates of the B-BBEE framework and databases.
  • POPIA – Management of the POPIA Oversight and compliance function – Management of Breaches, training, risk analysis and closure of gaps.
  • CSI – Governance and Management of CSI programme
  • Tender Applications – Preparation of Tender Pack
  • Licensing and Accreditation – Management and update of Licensing and Accreditation database.
  • Adverse Event Reporting and Management
