About the Role:
We're looking for a seasoned Government Affairs professional to unlock growth across Saudi Arabia and the broader GCC region. You'll be the person who turns regulatory complexity into competitive advantage — helping us expand into remote cities, launch new categories, and open new country markets.
GCC Market Entry (Qatar, Kuwait)
1. Lead government affairs groundwork for new country launches (urgent)
2. Handle entity setup, operating licenses, and regulatory approvals in new markets
3. Establish local government relationships from scratch
Special Category Licensing
1. Secure multipal categories operating licenses and regulatory approvals
2. Support private label product registration and compliance
3.Navigate certification requirements for imported goods across GCC markets Supply
Chain & Import Compliance
1. Solve cross-border import challenges for global sourcing (China, Europe, India, etc.)
2. Handle product certifications, import permits, and customs regulatory issues
3. Ensure smooth product flow into Saudi, Qatar, Kuwait from international origins
Requirements:
1. 5+ years in government affairs / regulatory / public policy roles in Qatar or Kuwait
2. Deep understanding of targeted countgry and national regulatory landscape
3. Proven track record of securing licenses, permits, and regulatory approvals
4. Strong network within Qatar or Kuwait government bodies and regulatory agencies
5. Experience in e-commerce, retail, or logistics industry preferred
6. Fluent in Arabic and English
7. Grew up and based in Qatar or Kuwait; willing to travel across Saudi and GCC
