Position: Government Contract Compliance Manager
Oversee compliance for defence contracts as a progressive Contracts Manager. Manage risks and ensure adherence to federal regulations while engaging with government stakeholders in this onsite role in Ottawa.
In this essential role, you’ll handle the contract lifecycle from proposal to closeout, ensuring execution aligns with Canadian defence procurement standards. Your experience in negotiating high-value contracts will be pivotal, as you address objectives across various departments. Collaboratively working with supply chain and engineering teams, you’ll navigate complex governmental requirements effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage full lifecycle of defence and government contracts
• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts and agreements
• Collaborate with internal teams for compliance assurance
• Act as main point of contact for contracting authorities
• Prepare customer quotes and monitor contract performance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Business Administration or related field
• Contract management experience in defence or aerospace
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal procurement policies
• Proficiency with Excel and costing models
• Must qualify for security clearance
