Job Summary

We are looking for a Government Relations Officer to manage and follow up on transactions requiring government approvals. The role involves direct coordination with official authorities to ensure timely completion and accuracy of procedures, supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the company and its projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly liaise with government entities to complete transactions such as Passports, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chamber of Commerce, and other relevant authorities.
  • Follow up on official document and contract certifications, including recruitment contracts, power of attorney, and official letters.
  • Implement updates to employee data with government authorities, such as passport and residence permit modifications when needed.
  • Manage external documentation and transactions that require approvals from multiple government entities.
  • Receive and deliver official documents and ensure their approval and stamping by the relevant authorities.
  • Coordinate with government authorities to resolve any issues or delays in transactions.
  • Represent the company before government authorities and build professional relationships to facilitate and expedite procedures.
  • Continuously monitor the status of transactions until completion and provide updates to management.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to prepare required documents before submitting to government authorities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School diploma; diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in government relations or facilitation (Ta’qib).
  • Previous experience in construction or project-based companies is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of government procedures and transactions.
  • Proficient in handling official documents and certifications.
