Government Relations Field Representative
A publicly traded fiber telecommunications company is seeking a Government Relations Field Representatives to support a major multi-state network expansion. This role will serve as the company’s on-the-ground representative with local and state officials who influence the speed and success of fiber deployment.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with city councils, right-of-way managers, city administrators, county officials, state legislators, state DOT representatives, and other key stakeholders. This is a highly visible, travel-heavy role that requires strong communication skills, professionalism, confidence, and the ability to quickly establish trust in new markets.
Ideal candidates are motivated, polished, outgoing, and comfortable walking into unfamiliar rooms to represent the company effectively. Candidates should be energized by frequent travel and relationship-driven work across a broad geographic footprint. The company provides the tools and travel support needed to be successful, including a laptop, cell phone, company credit card, and extensive travel resources. Preference to candidates in Dallas, Charlotte and Atlanta.
