Key Responsibilities
Business Growth and Commercialization
- Own and deliver Grain Voucher growth targets.
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the Grain Voucher business.
- Drive customer acquisition, activation, retention, and transaction growth.
- Develop distribution channels and partnerships that accelerate adoption.
- Identify and develop new market opportunities.
- Build Grain Vouchers into a trusted financial product across agricultural value chains.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
Product Ownership and Innovation
- Own the Grain Voucher product roadmap and long-term vision.
- Gather customer insights and market feedback to improve product-market fit.
- Work closely with technology and operations teams to develop new features and capabilities.
- Lead the design and launch of new Grain Voucher products and participation mechanisms.
- Develop new use cases for agricultural asset-backed products.
- Continuously improve customer experience and platform usability.
Ecosystem Development
- Build relationships with aggregators, traders, processors, farmer organizations, financial institutions, development partners, and investors.
- Develop strategic partnerships that increase voucher usage and utility.
- Expand the role of Grain Vouchers across storage, financing, trading, payments, and asset participation.
- Identify opportunities to increase liquidity and participation within the Grain Voucher ecosystem.
Integration of Services
Bennu will establish partnerships with financial institutions, insurance providers, and other financial service partners to expand the utility of Grain Vouchers and increase value for platform users. Integrated financial products will enable farmers and agribusinesses to access services linked directly to their agricultural assets, including:
- Working capital and inventory-backed loans.
- Crop, weather, and asset insurance products.
- Savings and wealth-building solutions.
- Input financing and seasonal credit facilities.
- Digital payment and settlement services.
These partnerships will strengthen customer adoption, improve financial inclusion, and enhance the role of Grain Vouchers as a trusted agricultural financial asset.
Business Operations
- Ensure smooth execution of voucher issuance, transfer, redemption, settlement, and customer support processes.
- Monitor operational performance and service levels.
- Develop scalable systems and operating procedures to support rapid growth.
- Coordinate with finance, operations, technology, and risk teams to ensure operational excellence.
- Maintain customer trust through strong execution and operational integrity.
Financial Performance
- Own the Grain Voucher P&L.
- Monitor revenue, margins, costs, and profitability.
- Develop business cases for new products and initiatives.
- Support liquidity planning and capital deployment decisions.
- Track key business and financial metrics and drive continuous improvement.

- Build and lead a high-performing Grain Voucher team.

Qualifications and Experience
Required

- Demonstrated experience managing a business unit, product line, commercial function, growth portfolio, or distribution network.
- Strong track record of achieving commercial growth targets.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving business performance.
