Our client is a global leader in advanced materials and protective solutions, serving customers across industrial, healthcare, chemical, energy, and manufacturing sectors worldwide. As part of its strategic expansion in Russia, the company is seeking a commercially driven and entrepreneurial business development professional to establish and grow its Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) business.
Position Summary
The Business Development Manager – PPE will be responsible for developing the Russian market for the company's portfolio of protective coveralls, disposable protective clothing, chemical protection garments, and industrial safety products.
This role goes beyond traditional sales management. The successful candidate will be responsible for building the market from the ground up, developing sales channels, establishing strategic customer relationships, generating demand, and positioning the company as a trusted PPE supplier in Russia.

Key Responsibilities
Market Development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive market-entry and growth strategy for Russia.
- Identify target industries, customer segments, and priority business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activities, and regulatory developments.
- Build a sustainable business platform for long-term growth.
Channel & Distributor Management
- Identify, recruit, and manage distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
- Establish effective sales and distribution networks across Russia.
- Develop partner engagement programs and business development initiatives.
- Support distributors in customer acquisition and market expansion activities.
Key Account & Business Development
- Develop relationships with strategic customers and major industrial accounts.
- Drive new business opportunities across manufacturing, energy, chemical, healthcare, construction, and industrial sectors.
- Manage negotiations with key customers and procurement organizations.
- Build long-term partnerships with end-users and industry stakeholders.
Tender & Corporate Sales
- Identify and manage participation in tenders and procurement projects.
- Engage with large corporations, government entities, and industrial groups.
- Coordinate bid preparation and commercial proposals.
- Support contract negotiations and project implementation.
Commercial Leadership
- Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and growth plans.
- Monitor business performance and market penetration.
- Work closely with global and regional teams to align business objectives.
- Provide regular market intelligence and strategic recommendations.
Candidate Profile
Required Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in PPE, industrial safety, workwear, medical protective products, or related industries.
- Proven experience managing regional or national sales and business development activities.
- Strong network among industrial end-users, distributors, procurement organizations, and safety professionals.
- Demonstrated success in opening new accounts and developing new business opportunities.
- Experience working with tenders and large corporate customers.
- Experience developing and managing distributor and dealer networks.

Education
