About the Role
As the Head of Commercial & Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing imei’s vendor, supplier panel, and strategic partner ecosystem.
This role is responsible for driving commercial performance, governance, compliance, and operational excellence across all vendor and partner relationships. You will oversee supplier panel participation, customer contract governance, bid response frameworks, and subcontractor partnerships, ensuring imei is positioned for sustainable growth across Enterprise and Government markets.
Working closely with Sales, Product, Operations, and Executive Leadership teams, you will build scalable commercial frameworks, optimise supplier relationships, strengthen contractual governance, and enable national delivery capability through strategic partnerships.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Vendor and supplier relationship management
- Commercial negotiations and optimisation
- Supplier panel participation and governance
- Customer contract review and risk management
- RFI, RFQ and RFP response management
- Partner and subcontractor ecosystem development
- Process improvement, documentation, and workflow standardisation
- Commercial compliance and governance
What do you bring?
You are a commercially astute professional with a strong background in vendor management, commercial partnerships, procurement, bid management, or strategic alliances.
- Extensive experience managing complex vendor and partner ecosystems
- Strong commercial negotiation and contract management capability
- Demonstrated success in supplier panel participation and bid processes
- Experience working within ICT, Telecommunications, Managed Services, or related industries
- The ability to develop scalable frameworks, templates, and governance processes
- Strong financial, commercial, and risk management acumen
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- A process-driven approach with strong attention to detail
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a strategic and hands-on leader who thrives on creating structure, driving commercial outcomes, and building long-term partnerships.
You will ideally have:
- 7–10+ years' experience in Commercial Management, Vendor Management, Procurement, Partnerships, or Bid Management
- Experience working with Enterprise and Government procurement environments
- Proven capability in contract negotiation and commercial optimisation
- Experience managing supplier panels, strategic partners, and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and risk management practices
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to implement scalable business processes
