We are seeking a seasoned Government & Public Affairs professional for a leading IT consulting services company in the Middle East to strengthen and elevate its regional presence and shape impactful policy narratives across key markets. This is a regional role covering Riyadh, UAE, and Qatar, with flexibility to be based in any of these locations.
This position is focused on strengthening stakeholder engagement and enhancing understanding and support for the organization across key audiences in the region.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 10+ years of experience in Government Affairs / Public Affairs at a senior level
- Strong understanding of political structures in the Middle East
- Proven ability to lead teams and external partners
- Excellent advocacy, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong leadership qualities
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel within the region as required
Responsibilities:
- Designing policy position papers on critical issues, articulating the organization’s point of view and regional contribution
- Leading public affairs campaigns to enhance reputation across political, bureaucratic, and diplomatic ecosystems
- Building and deepening long-term relationships with opinion leaders, policymakers, and key institutions
- Ensuring a strong and proactive regulatory environment for business operations
- Monitoring and analyzing key policy developments and delivering insights, including CXO briefings
- Managing memberships in trade bodies and engagement with think tanks
- Representing the organization at key public platforms and forums
- Leading and guiding internal and external support resource
