- Develop and execute an integrated annual Public Relations (PR) and media strategy aligned with corporate objectives to strengthen brand reputation and stakeholder trust.
- Lead the planning, development, approval, and distribution of press releases, media statements, corporate announcements, and executive communications across multiple media channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media houses, PR agencies, industry influencers, and other external stakeholders to maximize positive media exposure.
- Drive proactive media engagement by identifying newsworthy opportunities, securing high-value coverage, and enhancing the organization's share of voice within the industry.
- Monitor media coverage, industry trends, competitor activities, and public sentiment to generate actionable insights and recommend communication strategies.
- Lead crisis communication initiatives by identifying reputational risks early, coordinating response strategies, managing media inquiries, and protecting the organization's reputation.
- Develop and implement executive profiling initiatives by positioning senior leadership through media interviews, speaking engagements, thought leadership articles, and industry events.
- Manage PR, media monitoring, and communications agency partnerships by defining KPIs, evaluating performance, ensuring service quality, and optimizing return on investment.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of PR campaigns through media analytics, PR value, coverage quality, sentiment analysis, and stakeholder reporting to support business decisions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Commercial, Regulatory, Legal, HR, and Corporate Affairs to deliver impactful communication campaigns and ensure consistent corporate messaging.
Academic Qualification
- Minimum a Bachelor degree in Business/ BBA from a reputed UGC approved University
Job Experience Required
- At least 8 – 10 years’ experience in Telecom/ media/ PR and/or communications.
Required Capabilities
- Strong knowledge in MS office (Excel, word, Powerpoint)
- Strong knowledge of telecom industry
- Advance knowledge of PR draft writing
- Strong communication skill & social networking capabilities
- Strong ability to decisions making
