Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Digital Skills Programmes to lead the planning, execution and delivery of IT training programmes for graduates and undergraduates under government-funded initiatives. This role focuses on managing professional IT training programmes, participant recruitment, stakeholder engagement and programme delivery in collaboration with government agencies, Government-Linked Companies (GLCs), universities and industry partners. The ideal candidate should have experience managing training, workforce development, TVET, or professional certification programmes, with the ability to engage universities and graduates, conduct programme briefings and oversee end-to-end programme execution.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Programme Leadership
- Lead and manage the Programme Management Office (PMO) to ensure the successful delivery of IT training programmes and government-funded initiatives.
- Oversee the planning, execution and completion of training programmes, ensuring timelines, quality standards and programme objectives are met.
- Monitor programme progress, participant enrolment and performance outcomes.
Training Programme Management
- Manage the end-to-end implementation of IT training programmes, including course planning, trainer coordination, scheduling and training delivery.
- Ensure training programmes align with industry-relevant IT skills such as SAP, Power BI, AI, data analytics and other emerging digital technologies.
- Maintain programme documentation, reporting and evaluation processes.
Candidate Recruitment & Engagement
- Work closely with the marketing team to drive candidate recruitment and programme enrolments.
- Engage with universities, colleges and graduate communities to promote training opportunities.
- Conduct programme briefings, presentations and outreach sessions to potential participants.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with government agencies, GLCs, universities, and industry partners to ensure successful programme implementation.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure programme objectives align with funding requirements.
- Represent the company in external meetings, programme briefings and partnership discussions.
Programme Monitoring & Reporting
- Track programme KPIs including participant recruitment, completion rates, and programme outcomes.
- Prepare regular progress reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders.
- Identify programme risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Programme Management, Education Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing training programmes, workforce development initiatives, TVET programmes, or professional certification programmes.
- Experience working with government-funded training programmes, graduate development initiatives, or industry upskilling programmes is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of professional IT training programmes and current digital skills trends (e.g., SAP, Power BI, AI, Data Analytics, Cloud technologies).
- Experience engaging with universities, graduates and industry partners for programme outreach and recruitment.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to conduct programme briefings and stakeholder engagements.
- Proven leadership experience in managing programme teams and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary range: RM8,000 – RM10,000/month.
