Job Description:

The Head of Islamic Finance Structuring & Sharia-Compliant Products will be responsible for the strategic leadership, development, and execution of Sharia-compliant financial products across the organization. This role requires an expert understanding of Islamic finance principles, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics, along with the capability to lead cross-functional teams in innovative product structuring. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in developing and managing complex Islamic financial solutions, ensuring that all offerings are not only compliant with Sharia law but also competitive within the market. Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in Islamic finance, with at least 7 years in a senior management role focused on product structuring and development.
  • Extensive knowledge of Sharia law and its application within financial products, augmented by formal qualifications or certifications in Islamic finance.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive growth in Islamic finance offerings, with measurable success in enhancing product portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and compliance regulations affecting Islamic financial products, with a track record of implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Expertise in market analysis and competitive positioning for Islamic finance products, with the ability to interpret quantitative data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences, including board members, clients, and regulatory authorities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless product implementation and ongoing management.
