Key Accountabilities:
- Manage product team o develop products and services to increase bank's consumers market share/profitability.
- Working with management across all distribution channels and Head Office functions to proactively identify and drive Mortgage lending related projects to improve business.
- Managing detailed and complex business analysis relating to Mortgage Lending products
- Carrying out comprehensive market analysis
- Designing, collating, producing and communicating key management information to all stakeholders, including financial, product and consumer MI
- Play a leading role in the development and proposal of yearly targets
- Identify, evaluate and communicate market opportunities to Senior Management Team. Provide clear business rationale for pursuing different business opportunities, which should include an investment business case, financial projection and detailed assessment of risks
- Identifying ways to create value for shareholders, the business and customers by delivering customer focused propositions including changes, enhancements and new developments to the marketplace.
- Monitor market, consumer and competitive landscape with a key focus on insight led proposition development, ensuring product range and overall proposition is aligned to changing customer and market requirements
- Initiate, coordinate and drive product and pricing changes, managing development through to approval and delivery across all critical functions and distribution channels
- Manage the development and delivery of a best in class, multi-channel customer experience
- Support the growth of the Mortgage Lending book by working closely with the Customer Propositions Team (Brand & Communications, Customer Analytics and Online) to develop and refresh the Mortgage marketing plan
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across all bank including Distribution, Finance, Credit, IT, Operations, Legal and compliance
- Develop the business cases with necessary market assessment information, current market practices, product offerings, competition strategies, sales channels and risk mitigate.
- Close liaison with Credit Risk in formulating and maintaining credit policies that suits the customer needs without compromising the risk.
- Liaise with change, Operations & Technology teams for development of processes, infrastructure and IT capability.
- Monitor performance of consumer assets Products Line against key measures.Report results with recommendations about performance.
- Own end – to – end product life cycle
- Responsible for the Product Mix, and Product positioning of all existing and new products.
- Manage the key aspects of the income statements such as revenues, expenses, losses and provisions etc.
- Implement governance, risk, compliance and control in line with ADIB group policies.
- Provide ongoing training to front liners on new products.
Qualifications:
- University/College Degree.
- 10 + Years of experience in different retail banking areas out of which 4 years of it in product management.
