Salary: $130,000 – $160,000 (Base)

Variable OTE: $75,000 – $150,000 (Performance-based)

Close Bonus: $150,000 – $250,000 tied to contract close

Equity: 0.75% – 1.5% (Fully Diluted)

Vesting: 4-year vesting, 1-year cliff, 25% acceleration upon anchor contract signing

Overview

As the Head of Sales / CRO, you will inherit an established sales pipeline with a $150M anchor customer-investor. This is a role focused on conversion and expansion, as they moves to scale its operations. The Head of Sales will have direct responsibility for securing critical deals and nurturing client relationships to achieve growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the sales process for large, complex deals, particularly government contracts and dual-use commercial space.
  • Lead a high-performing sales team, driving efforts to close critical deals with key clients and investors.
  • Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and co-investors, ensuring smooth negotiations and contract renewals.
  • Establish and implement long-term sales strategies that contribute to the expansion and revenue growth.
  • Negotiate large-scale contracts, driving the $150M anchor contract over the line, while expanding the business into new markets.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of successfully managing sales at high-growth companies, particularly in defense or government contracting sectors.
  • Strong understanding of complex sales cycles, particularly related to dual-use technologies and government infrastructure.
  • Experience working with senior executives to close multi-million-dollar deals.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.
