About Us

MS Public Health & Development Consultancy PLC is an institutional advisory firm driving evidence, equity, and sustainable solutions across the health, education, and development sectors. We partner with global donors, international NGOs, regional bodies, and government ministries to deliver large-scale implementation research, policy design, digital health solutions, and capacity-building programs.

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and highly strategic Head of Strategic Partnerships & Organizational Growth. This senior-track role is designed for a front-facing builder who will actively represent the PLC in the regional development ecosystem, forge winning consortia with international partners, identify high-value institutional opportunities (RFPs, grants, tenders), and work directly with the founding partners to scale the firm’s organizational impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Alliance & Consortium Building (45%)

  • Proactively identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with international NGOs, UN agencies, academic institutions, and regional bodies (e.g., AU, UNECA) to build competitive bidding consortia.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners, managing corporate B2B relations and positioning the PLC as a premier local implementation partner in East Africa.
  • Actively represent the firm at high-level development forums, health sector networking events, and donor roundtables.

2. Institutional Pipeline & Growth Strategy (40%)

  • Track international and regional procurement portals (e.g., ReliefWeb, UNGM, developmentaid.org) daily to scout high-value public health and socio-economic development consultancies.
  • Perform rapid "Go/No-Go" strategic assessments on open calls, aligning opportunities with the specific credentials of our expert partners.
  • Lead the strategic positioning, capability framing, and high-level conceptualization of technical proposals, ensuring our partnerships meet complex donor mandates.
  • Coordinate the packaging of institutional annexes (donor-ready CVs, past performance metrics, and compliance documents).

3. Digital Presence & Thought Leadership (15%)

  • Manage and regularly refine the corporate digital footprint and website (msphdglobal.org), ensuring services, case studies, and compliance milestones are flawlessly communicated to global reviewers.
  • Oversee the firm’s registration profiles on major international vendor databases (e.g., SAM.gov, UN Global Marketplace).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH), International Development, Global Affairs, Business Administration (MBA), or a highly related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of progressive experience in the development or health sector, with a proven track record in partnership development, institutional networking, or proposal coordination.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong public presence, high emotional intelligence (EQ), and deep familiarity with donor procurement frameworks.
  • Language Excellence:
  • English: Flawless, native-level written and verbal command. Must be capable of reviewing and drafting high-stakes corporate and technical communication without editorial oversight.
  • French (Highly Valued Plus): Professional working proficiency or fluency in written and spoken French to strongly support cross-border regional bids.

What We Offer

  • A highly collaborative, executive role with the autonomy to shape the growth and regional footprint of an established PLC.
  • Directly collaborate with top-tier health systems researchers, data scientists, and policymakers.
  • Competitive compensation and performance-linked growth incentives.

How to Apply

Interested candidates who meet the above criteria should submit a Cover Letter and CV highlighting their networking, partnership, or technical proposal experience to [email protected].

Note: Shortlisted candidates will complete a practical, 48-hour strategy and writing assignment to showcase their analytical thinking and English language precision.

  • MS Public Health & Development Consultancy PLC is an equal opportunity employer. We believe in diverse, inclusive leadership—qualified female professionals are strongly and highly encouraged to apply.
