Position Summary:

Responsible for all HR functions covering Recruitment, compensation, employee relationship, general welfare and administration / legal labor law compliance and overall HR support for all organizations in Singapore and other SEA countries including operations, R&D, sales & marketing, finance, IT, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Participate in a variety of recruitment activities so that the organization's recruitment process is efficient, effective and equitable.
  • Prepare job postings, specifications for recruitment agencies, job descriptions and other materials in accordance with the organization's recruitment standards.
  • Contact candidates, schedule interviews, and develop interview questions in with the hiring manager so interviews are conducted efficiently and equitably.
  • Prepare job offer materials in accordance with the job specifications so successful candidates have all necessary information necessary to decide to accept the position.
  • Represent the organization at job fairs to promote the organization to potential candidates.
  • Conduct employee orientation and introductory training to new employees for quick integration into the organization.
  • Responsible in application and renewal of work passes (WP, SP, EP & DP) via MOM portal for foreign employees.

HRIS & Payroll Administration

  • Manage and liaise with payroll vendor in full cycle of monthly payroll processing
  • Ensure proper update and maintenance of personnel data in Workday and HRIS
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing including verify overtime, benefit claim, allowance, and allowable deduction.
  • Prepare monthly payroll summary report, GL Listing, bonus accrual report to Finance Department.
  • Maintain payroll supporting documentation and authorization for audit purposes.
  • Handle queries from employees and auditor on HR matters (payroll, leave, attendance, etc)

Training and Development

  • Source and compare various training providers once received the training need request.
  • Tap on government training grant and funding to cover up to 90% of the course fee. Apply for Absentee Payroll Funding for eligible employees after they attend courses.
  • Conduct classroom training (Brady Code of Ethics) for non-executive employees.

Employee Engagement Activities

  • Organizes and coordinates employee town hall, company meetings, events, seminars or conferences.
  • Build and maintain effective local employee communication activities or programs
  • Plan and organize festive celebration and activities for Singapore employees.

Others

  • Organizes and maintains company legal document, correspondence and other records for the site.
  • To support and comply with the Brady Corporation Global Policies, Brady Policy, Quality Policy, Environmental Policy, Safety & Health Policy and other organization policies that are relevant to job functions. To responsible, accountable and committed to fulfill the codes and statements prescribed in the policies.
  • The above responsibilities are not exhaustive and other related duties may be added from time to time.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Degree/Diploma in relevant studies with minimum 2 – 4 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or work experience.
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have pleasant personality and able to communicate well with all levels of employee
  • Knowledge in principles and practices of SAP
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
