About The HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist to support end-to-end recruitment and day-to-day HR operations. You'll play a key role in building a high-performing team by managing talent pipelines, supporting onboarding, and ensuring a compliant, people-first work culture. Responsibilities: Lead recruitment efforts: job postings, sourcing, screening, and coordinating interviews Maintain HR records, contracts, and compliance documentation Support onboarding and offboarding processes Assist in implementing HR policies, performance reviews, and benefits programs Track hiring metrics and manage candidate pipelines using ATS tools Serve as a culture ambassador and liaison between staff and leadership
Key Responsibilities for HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist
Required Qualifications For HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist
- 2–4 years of experience in HR or talent acquisition (tech/startup or federal contractor preferred)
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with ATS platforms and HRIS tools
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Bonus: SHRM-CP, PHR, or other HR certifications
- 📝 Additional Info:
- Experience in a distributed/remote team setting is a plus
- Familiarity with federal contracting onboarding (e.g., clearance requirements, compliance) is a bonus
