We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead and oversee all human resources functions for a growing retail business in Kuwait. This role will play a key part in driving people strategy, supporting business growth, and ensuring best-in-class HR practices across store and head office operations.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Business Partnering
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Act as a trusted advisor to management on all HR-related matters
- Support organisational growth, workforce planning, and change initiatives
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for retail and corporate roles
- Ensure a strong pipeline of talent across stores and head office
- Manage onboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to improve retention and performance
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
Performance Management & Development
- Lead performance management processes, including appraisals and goal setting
- Identify training and development needs across the organisation
- Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives
Compensation & Benefits
- Manage salary benchmarking and compensation structures in line with the Kuwait market
- Oversee payroll coordination and employee benefits programs
- Ensure competitive and compliant reward practices
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Kuwait Labour Law and company policies
- Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee records
- Oversee visa, residency, and government-related HR processes where applicable
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 7–10+ years of HR experience, ideally within retail or a multi-site environment
- Proven experience managing end-to-end HR functions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
