Role Description
The HR Manager will oversee end-to-end HR Operations across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and providing HR insights that support business growth. The HR Manager will also take on additional responsibilities as required, in line with the evolving structure and needs of the HR team.
Main Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage the full spectrum of HR operations including compensation and benefits policy reviewing and administration, employee lifecycle and movement, contracts and letters issuance.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of HR records, HRMS, and personnel files.
- Oversee HR audits and compliance processes, including liaison with government agencies for employment law, permits, expatriate affairs, and related regulatory matters.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and employee experience.
- Serve as the HRIS and data analytics lead, providing accurate reporting, insights, and dashboards to support workforce planning and decision-making.
2. Employee & Industrial Relations (ER / IR)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, providing advice and resolution in line with company policies and labor law, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant handling of issues.
- Manage disciplinary and grievance processes including show-cause letters, warnings, domes-tic inquiries, and documentation.
- Promote employee trust, engagement, and open communication across all levels.
3. Strategic HR Business Partnership
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand workforce challenges and provide HR solutions that support operational and strategic goals.
- Deliver HR insights, trends, and analytics to aid decision-making and workforce planning.
- Act as a change agent, supporting business transformation and cultural alignment initiatives.
4. Leadership & Collaboration
- Partner with Head of HR Operations to lead and mentor HR team members, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of HR services.
- Partner with other pillars within HR Centre of Excellence (CoE) teams to ensure consistent application of HR policies, frameworks, and practices.
- Foster collaboration across departments to drive employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
- Support HR projects and initiatives beyond core responsibilities, adapting to the evolving needs of the HR team and organization.
Minimum Qualification
- Degree holder in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology and/or other related fields
- At least 3 years experience in Human Resource Operations
- Preferably from education industry background at least
- Meticulous and strong attention to details is necessary
