Job Description

The Human Resources Trainee will support the implementation of various Human Resources functions, including recruitment and talent acquisition, employee services, HR operations, and employee records management. The role provides practical experience across key HR activities while contributing to the effective execution of HR policies and procedures, supporting workforce requirements, and delivering professional employee support services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment and talent acquisition activities, including posting job advertisements, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist in maintaining candidate databases and tracking recruitment activities through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment platforms.
  • Support onboarding activities for new employees, including preparing documentation, coordinating joining requirements, and facilitating orientation processes.
  • Monitor employee attendance and leave records through HR systems and ensure compliance with approved attendance and working hour requirements.
  • Assist in administering annual, sick, emergency, and other leave requests in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
  • Support the processing of employee transactions, including promotions, transfers, secondments, and end-of-service procedures, while ensuring proper documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Handle employee inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and escalate matters when required.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including personal information, training records, compensation-related data, and employee benefits information.
  • Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and documentation related to recruitment, employee services, and other HR activities.
  • Support workforce planning and talent acquisition initiatives by collecting and analyzing recruitment and workforce-related data.
  • Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of employee and candidate information in HR systems and databases.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, procedures, and employee experience initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduate eligible for the Tamheer Program.
  • Understanding of Human Resources principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Professional proficiency in Arabic and working knowledge of English.
