About the Role
As a Customs Compliance Executive, you will be the key point of contact for all customs and regulatory matters. You’ll ensure full compliance with Philippine import regulations, manage tariff classifications, and work closely with internal teams and government agencies to keep shipments moving without delays or penalties.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison with the Bureau of Customs (BOC) and other regulatory bodies
- Ensure compliance with the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA)
- Perform accurate tariff classification (HS Code / AHTN) for all imports
- Manage and maintain import licenses and accreditations
- Monitor regulatory updates and ensure company-wide compliance
- Lead compliance efforts during audits from government agencies
- Support supply chain operations, including shipment tracking
- Serve as an alternate to the Supply Chain Specialist when needed
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business
- Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) – required
- 5–10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain
- At least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of Philippine customs regulations and processes
Good-to-Have
- Experience working with retail or FMCG imports
- Familiarity with multi-agency compliance (BOC and other government bodies)
- Experience coordinating with brokers and cross-functional teams
