About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Information Security Compliance Engineer to support our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives. This role plays a key part in ensuring that Paynamics remains secure, compliant, and audit-ready in a highly regulated fintech environment.
You will work closely with the Information Security team to maintain compliance with global standards, support audits, manage risks, and strengthen our Information Security Management System (ISMS).
What You’ll Do
- Support information security governance and policy management, ensuring alignment with ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS frameworks
- Assist in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation tracking, maintaining updated risk registers
- Monitor and support regulatory and compliance requirements, including audit evidence and documentation
- Participate in internal and external audits, including control testing and issue tracking
- Manage and maintain ISMS documentation and version control, ensuring accuracy and traceability
- Assist in incident tracking, root cause analysis, and compliance issue resolution
- Support vendor and third-party risk assessments
- Contribute to security awareness, training, and compliance reporting
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- At least 1 year experience in Information Security, Compliance, Risk, or Audit
- Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, ISMS documentation, or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with risk management, audit processes, and compliance tracking
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, and analytical thinking
- Experience in fintech or regulated industries is a plus
