Company Description Kuwait Dairy Company (KDCow) is a leading dairy producer in Kuwait, known for high-quality fresh dairy products made from milk sourced daily from local farms. Established in 1960 through a Kuwaiti farmers’ initiative, the company plays a key role in supporting national food security and enhancing local industrial capabilities. KDCow operates extensive production lines over a 22,000 square meter facility, with a current daily capacity of 350 tons and plans to expand to 550 tons. A dedicated research and quality control team works in internationally accredited laboratories to ensure products meet global health standards and to drive continuous improvement. The company is also developing a major new 70,000 square meter extension to further increase production and supply capacity in Kuwait and across the GCC.
Role Description The Information Technology Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuwait, responsible for overseeing the company’s IT strategy, infrastructure, and operations. This role manages day-to-day IT activities, including network and server administration, application support, cybersecurity, data backup, and disaster recovery across production, logistics, and office environments. The Information Technology Manager leads and mentors the IT team, prioritizes support requests, and ensures timely resolution of incidents and service requests. The role collaborates closely with operations, production, finance, and senior leadership to understand business needs, implement technology solutions, and support ongoing expansion projects. Responsibilities also include vendor management, budgeting for IT investments, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and driving continuous improvement in systems, processes, and security practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure and operations management, including servers, networks, storage, and end-user computing.
- Strong skills in IT security, data protection, backup and recovery, and access control to safeguard systems and information.
- Experience with business applications and ERP or production/warehouse systems, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG environments.
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop an IT team, manage workloads, and coordinate cross-functional projects.
- Competence in IT governance, budgeting, vendor and contract management, and lifecycle management of hardware and software assets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a structured approach to incident, change, and risk management.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical topics into clear business language.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CCNA, MCSE) are an advantage.
