Job Overview
Infrastructure Architect design and govern the bank’s infrastructure architecture to ensure it is secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business and technology strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Architecture Design :Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions covering compute, storage, virtualization, network and disaster recovery.
- Technology Standards & Governance :Define architecture standards, reference architectures, and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security policies.
- Solution Review & Approval: Review infrastructure designs for projects and changes to ensure scalability, resilience, performance, and operational readiness.
- Technology Evaluation: Assess new infrastructure technologies and provide recommendations, proof of concepts (PoCs), and migration strategies.
- Architecture Documentation & Stakeholder Engagement: Produce architecture diagrams, design documents, and collaborate with security, operations, application, and project teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of infrastructure experience, including architecture or senior engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization, cloud, networking, storage, databases and operating systems.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) is an advantage.
- Banking or financial services experience is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as VMware VCP, or Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) are desirable.
