On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for an Intermediate Business Analyst: Change & Project Delivery to join our Client’s team on a contract basis. This role is Hybrid and the Client is based in Richmond, BC.

Summary of the Role

The Intermediate Business Analyst supports the delivery of business analysis, project coordination, and change management activities across initiatives. This role involves gathering and documenting requirements, supporting stakeholders, and contributing to process improvements. The successful candidate will work across multiple projects, helping to ensure alignment between business needs and delivered solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and non-functional requirements
  • Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Support project planning, coordination, and execution activities
  • Assist with change management initiatives across stakeholder groups
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions
  • Analyze business problems and recommend process improvement solutions
  • Prepare clear and concise documentation and reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment
  • Track tasks, priorities, and deliverables across multiple initiatives

Core Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role
  • Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and user stories
  • Working knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Visio
  • Post-secondary education; MBA preferred

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting change management initiatives
  • Exposure to process improvement methodologies
  • Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments
  • Familiarity with project coordination or delivery support
  • Experience in a public sector environment

Terms

This is a 12-month contract engagement based in Richmond, BC. The role follows a hybrid work arrangement, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week. Candidates must complete a background check and provide references at the offer stage.
