Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and globally aware International Issues Specialist to support cross-border operations, monitor international developments, and coordinate responses to global regulatory, political, and operational matters. This role involves researching international policies, managing stakeholder communication, and helping leadership navigate complex global environments.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working remotely, understands international business or policy landscapes, and can communicate clearly with teams across different regions and time zones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor international political, economic, and regulatory developments that may impact operations
  • Research global compliance requirements, trade policies, and regional risks
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and recommendations for leadership and internal teams
  • Coordinate with international partners, government agencies, and external stakeholders
  • Support crisis response planning and issue resolution for cross-border operations
  • Maintain documentation related to international compliance and operational standards
  • Assist with risk assessments and mitigation strategies for global projects
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operations teams on international matters

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in International Relations, Political Science, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in international relations, compliance, risk management, government affairs, or global operations
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in International Relations, Public Policy, or a related discipline
  • Experience working with multinational organizations or government agencies
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations or compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with geopolitical risk analysis or global operations management
  • Experience coordinating with stakeholders across different countries or regions
