The Role
As Investment Director, you will serve as a senior execution lead within the Global Strategic Investment team, working closely with senior leadership to drive development-stage wind investments, joint venture structuring, and complex cross-border transactions. With a primary focus on Europe, you will identify, evaluate, and execute opportunities that are commercially robust, development-ready, and fully bankable.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead origination and evaluation of development-stage wind energy opportunities across Europe and select international markets
- Assess development maturity across permitting, land, grid, and regulatory dimensions across multiple jurisdictions
- Structure and execute JVs, M&A acquisitions, and development partnerships end-to-end
- Lead senior negotiations on Heads of Terms, Shareholder Agreements, development agreements, land arrangements, and commercial terms
- Shape investment structures, governance frameworks, and participation models to support scalable cross-border deployment
- Provide strategic input on market prioritisation, capital allocation, and investment vehicle design
- Represent the organisation with developers, governments, utilities, project finance banks, DFIs, and ECAs
- Line manage and develop talent within a growing international investment team
The Candidate
- 10+ years of wind development experience at a leading developer, IPP, or infrastructure fund
- Demonstrated leadership of development-stage renewable projects across permitting, land, grid, and regulatory workstreams
- Strong track record executing JVs, M&A, and development partnerships at senior level
- Ability to review, challenge, and guide project finance models and valuation outputs to ensure bankability and commercial robustness
- Experience structuring multi-jurisdictional investment vehicles and contributing to governance frameworks for cross-border entities
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders including developers, advisors, government bodies, and financial institutions
- Prior exposure to OEM-linked investment strategies or localisation models is a significant advantage

- Strong commercial judgement with the ability to structure complex, cross-border transactions
- Excellent negotiation skills and confidence engaging at the most senior levels externally
- Culturally adept, with the ability to lead multi-jurisdictional teams across time zones
- Strong communicator capable of producing investment committee-ready materials
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment
Location & Languages
Based in Hong Kong or Singapore, with regular international travel required. Mandarin and English fluency essential; additional European languages advantageous.
