Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Investment Manager role based in Hyderabad. The Investment Manager will oversee investment portfolios, develop and implement investment strategies, and ensure alignment with Shariah-compliant guidelines and the group’s risk management framework. Daily responsibilities include conducting financial and market analysis, evaluating asset classes and securities, preparing investment proposals and reports, and monitoring portfolio performance against benchmarks. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders and clients to understand investment objectives, recommending suitable products and structures, and supporting the launch and management of new funds and investment solutions. The Investment Manager will also contribute to research initiatives, stay informed about regulatory developments, and support continuous improvement of investment processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Investment Management and Investments, including experience managing portfolios and assessing asset classes in line with Islamic finance principles.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and expertise in Investment Strategies, with the ability to interpret financial data, conduct market research, and design risk-aware investment approaches.
- Candidates should possess a sound foundation in Finance, including knowledge of capital markets, financial instruments, and relevant regulatory and Shariah-compliant frameworks.
- Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, Islamic finance qualifications) are an advantage.
- Strong quantitative and modeling skills, proficiency with investment and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg or similar platforms), and the ability to prepare clear investment reports and presentations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and engage professionally with clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to ethical investment standards and continuous learning.
