Job Summary

The Investment Officer supports the identification, evaluation, execution, and monitoring of airport investment opportunities across Aboitiz InfraCapital's businesses. The role assists in financial modeling, investment analysis, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and preparation of

investment materials, covering end-to-end project development (from inception to operationalization). The Investment Officer works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to support investment transactions and portfolio performance.

Responsibilities

Business Development & Investment Analysis

• Prepare and maintain financial models for investment evaluations, including DCF and project finance models.

• Conduct financial analysis, sensitivity analysis, and scenario testing to support investment

recommendations.

• Gather, organize, and validate financial and operational data/assumptions used in investment analyses.

Transaction Evaluation & Due Diligence

• Support the identification and evaluation of potential investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, and infrastructure projects. Assist in preparing investment papers, financial analyses, and transaction documents.

• Support in review and negotiation of project documents and contracts

Project Management

• Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors in conducting financial, legal, commercial, and technical due diligence.

• Assist in bid preparations for new projects including overseeing due diligence and proposal development

• Assist in monitoring project schedules and budgets and key deliverables

Portfolio Monitoring

• Monitor the financial and operational performance of assigned investments against approved business plans and investment assumptions.

• Assist in identifying key risks, opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives.

• Conduct market and industry research to support investment and portfolio reviews.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Prepare presentations, investment memoranda, and reports for management and investment committees.

• Coordinate with business units, project teams, consultants, lenders, government, and external partners to facilitate investment activities.

• Support project teams throughout various stages of the investment lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in corporate finance, investment analysis, project finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or a related field.
  • Experience in (1) financial modeling and financial statement analysis and (2) airport investments or other regulated infrastructure (water, energy, rail, toll, etc.) is preferred.
