Pay Rate: $58 – $65 per hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior IT Analyst – Identity & Access Management (IAM) to drive governance, compliance, and transformation initiatives across enterprise IAM programs. This role is ideal for a high-performing professional with deep expertise in access certification, identity lifecycle management, and IAM governance frameworks.

You will partner with business and technology stakeholders to strengthen security posture, optimize IAM processes, and support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This is a highly visible role with significant impact on security, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead IAM governance and compliance initiatives, including access certifications, audits, and control validation
  • Drive access certification campaigns (user access, privileged access, role-based access, application/database access) and perform quality assurance
  • Analyze and improve Identity Access Management processes, including access lifecycle management and privileged access management (PAM)
  • Ensure adherence to IAM policies, standards, and security controls across systems and applications
  • Conduct gap analysis, risk assessments, and remediation planning to strengthen security posture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable IAM solutions
  • Support and guide stakeholders in access reviews, role design, and entitlement management
  • Lead IAM transformation initiatives, including implementation of new tools, workflows, and governance models
  • Develop and document functional and non-functional requirements for IAM systems and integrations
  • Monitor KPIs, metrics, and trends to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership for decision-making
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to IAM best practices and standards

Required Skills/Education:

  • 8+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), IT Security, or Cybersecurity
  • Proven experience with access certification, IAM governance, identity lifecycle management, and privileged access management (PAM)
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance, and risk management (e.g., SOX, audit controls, governance models)
  • Experience leading IAM transformation or enterprise security initiatives
  • Expertise in data analysis, process improvement, and workflow optimization
  • Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical IAM solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in cross-functional, enterprise environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing IAM policies, standards, and governance documentation
  • Familiarity with financial services or regulated environments
  • Knowledge of access risk management and identity governance tools (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, Azure AD)
  • Experience with audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and security assessments
  • Strong understanding of IAM analytics, reporting, and KPI frameworks
