JOB PROFILE / REQUIREMENTS:
- Member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines
- Should have experience in corporate compliance
- Should have experience having worked with a financial institution or other regulated business, such as banks, lending companies, or financial technology companies
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Has high attention to detail and is well-organized
- Experience in performing due diligence work is preferred
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and government issuances (“Laws”) relevant to the business of the Company, including all amendments thereof or updates thereto, including but not limited to those issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission, National Privacy Commission, Anti-Money Laundering Council, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Department of Labor and Employment, and other relevant agencies
- Ensure that the Company adheres to all Laws
- Ensure that partners, vendors, and clients with which the Company transacts are also fully compliant with Laws affecting their businesses
- Keep a record of deadlines for submission of reportorial requirements
- Ensure compliance with all reportorial requirements of relevant government agencies
- Keep a record of all reports and documents filed with relevant government agencies
- Prepare and review agreements and other documents, and arrange for notarization of the same, as needed
- Provide corporate secretarial support (management committees and board meetings) and corporate governance support, coordinate with and manage corporate secretarial service provider
- Provide legal and compliance advisory support to all teams
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned from time to time
