Consultant – Government Strategy & Delivery

Brisbane | $120,000 – $140,000 + Super

Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Consultant to join their Brisbane-based team and support the delivery of strategic advisory, transformation, and program delivery engagements across Queensland Government and major infrastructure organisations.

This is an opportunity for a Consultant who enjoys solving complex problems, working closely with clients, and contributing to meaningful projects that deliver real outcomes for government and the community.

The Opportunity

Working alongside experienced consultants and senior leaders, you will support the delivery of a broad range of consulting engagements across strategy, transformation, governance, project delivery, and organisational improvement initiatives.

You will work directly with government stakeholders, facilitate discussions, analyse information, develop recommendations, and help clients navigate complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of consulting engagements across government and infrastructure sectors
  • Conduct research, analysis, stakeholder engagement and workshop activities
  • Assist with business case development, strategic reviews, governance frameworks and transformation initiatives
  • Prepare reports, presentations and client-facing documentation
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions
  • Support project and program delivery activities
  • Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to business development activities where appropriate

About You

We're interested in speaking with candidates who bring a combination of consulting, advisory, project delivery or transformation experience and enjoy working in a client-facing environment.

You'll ideally possess

  • 3–7 years of relevant Consulting, Advisory or Delivery experience
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience facilitating workshops and discussions
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • The ability to work across multiple projects and competing priorities
  • A collaborative and proactive approach
