The Land Acquisition Officer plays a key role in identifying, evaluating, and securing land for business development initiatives. This position focuses on managing the entire land acquisition process, from prospecting to contract negotiation, while ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and fostering relationships with landowners, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
Land Acquisition and Evaluation:
- Identify and evaluate potential land sites for development opportunities based on business requirements.
- Conduct due diligence, including land surveys, zoning research, and title verification.
- Prepare feasibility studies and land assessment reports for decision-making.
Negotiation and Contracting:
- Negotiate terms and conditions with landowners and stakeholders.
- Facilitate the drafting and review of land purchase agreements, leases, or related contracts.
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with landowners, local government units, and community representatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for land-related inquiries and issues.
Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Collaborate with business development, legal, engineering, and finance teams to align land acquisition efforts with project goals.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities to secure permits and approvals for land use.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify land acquisition trends and opportunities.
- Monitor local and national policies related to land acquisition and development.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in land acquisition, real estate, or business development.
- Knowledge of land acquisition laws, zoning regulations, and property valuation.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project management tools.
- Must be willing to be based in Gapan, Nueva Ecija
- Willingness to travel as required for site visits and stakeholder engagements.
