Job Summary
Support MRANTI’s ecosystem effectiveness by consolidating portfolio and stakeholder data into actionable insights, facilitating stakeholder engagement and partnerships, enabling collaboration and commercialisation opportunities, and supporting ecosystem initiatives that drive measurable impact and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Ecosystem Intelligence Integration (Portfolio + Data Consolidation)
- Consolidate fragmented ecosystem and portfolio data across MRANTI platforms, including MATCH, programmes, and stakeholder databases into a structured ecosystem intelligence framework.
- Standardise and harmonise datasets across divisions to create a single source of truth for ecosystem visibility.
- Develop ecosystem segmentation (startups, corporates, investors, researchers, government) to support targeted engagement and activation.
- Ecosystem Insight Generation & Opportunity Mapping
- Analyse ecosystem and portfolio data to identify gaps, overlaps, and underutilised opportunities within MRANTI’s ecosystem.
- Generate actionable insights on sector demand, technology supply, commercial readiness, and collaboration potential.
- Identify strategic ecosystem trends and translate them into engagement, partnership, and programme opportunities.
- Ecosystem Activation
- Drive activation of MRANTI ecosystem platforms (e.g., MATCH) beyond passive listing into outcome-driven engagement mechanisms.
- Diagnose barriers to successful matching between technology seekers and providers and design interventions to improve conversion.
- Develop structured engagement models (e.g., curated matchmaking, industry challenges, demand-led calls, strategic matching programmes).
- Ensure ecosystem platforms contribute measurable outcomes (not just registrations or listings).
- Strategic Stakeholder & Ecosystem Engagement
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with corporates, startups, investors, government agencies, universities, and ecosystem partners.
- Act as a central connector between ecosystem stakeholders and portfolio insights to enable meaningful collaborations.
- Facilitate high-value introductions and engagements aligned with MRANTI strategic priorities.
- Strategic Partnership Development
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships that strengthen MRANTI’s ecosystem positioning and national innovation mandate.
- Design collaboration models with corporates, ministries, GLCs, and international partners to drive ecosystem-wide impact.
- Support development of ecosystem initiatives, co-creation programmes, and industry-driven innovation challenges.
- Portfolio Progression & Commercialisation Enablement
- Track portfolio companies’ progression and readiness for investment, adoption, or market access.
- Use ecosystem intelligence to match companies to strategic opportunities, partners, and interventions.
- Support acceleration of commercialisation pathways through ecosystem connectivity.
- Ecosystem Strategy & Continuous Improvement
- Provide strategic recommendations to improve MRANTI ecosystem platforms, databases, and engagement models.
- Continuously enhance ecosystem activation frameworks to improve conversion rates from connection, collaboration and outcome.
- Contribute to MRANTI ecosystem strategy and national innovation agenda through data-driven insights.
- Portfolio, Partnership Programme Support
- Support , Programme Unit, strategic partnership and cross-division initiatives to ensure effective execution
- Monitor, report, and measure initiative adoption, outputs, ecosystem impact, and revenue contribution
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD)
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Innovation Management, Data Analytics, Technology Management or other related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in ecosystem development, partnerships, programme management, innovation management, platform strategy, business development, venture building or stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management across industry, government, academia, startups, or innovation ecosystems.
- Good understanding and exposure to innovation platforms, accelerators, or matching systems preferred (e.g., innovation marketplaces, venture platforms, or national innovation systems).
- Experience in data-driven decision-making or ecosystem analytics is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication, presentation, and coordination skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with CRM, databases, or data visualisation tools is an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
