Job Summary
Legend Holding Group is seeking an experienced Legal & Corporate Affairs Officer to provide legal, contractual, and compliance support across the Group's diverse business operations. The role will be responsible for drafting and reviewing corporate agreements, advising on UAE Labour Law matters, supporting disciplinary and employment-related cases, preparing legal notices, and ensuring compliance with applicable UAE laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate must possess strong experience in corporate and commercial contracts, legal drafting, labor law advisory, and stakeholder management within the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage various corporate and commercial agreements, including:
- Service Agreements
- Vendor and Supplier Agreements
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs)
- Lease Agreements
- Consultancy Agreements
- Partnership Agreements
- Employment-related Agreements
- Provide legal guidance on UAE Labour Law matters, including:
- Employee disciplinary actions
- Investigations
- Employment disputes
- Policy interpretation and compliance
- Draft legal notices, warning letters, investigation notices, settlement agreements, and other legal correspondence.
- Support management in handling employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and compliance investigations.
- Review and advise on corporate governance and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, government authorities, and regulatory bodies whenever required.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions on various business matters.
- Ensure company policies, contracts, and procedures remain compliant with UAE laws and best practices.
- Support business units in risk assessment and mitigation of legal exposures.
- Maintain legal records, contract repositories, and corporate documentation.
- Participate in internal investigations and compliance reviews as required.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
- UAE legal experience is mandatory.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant UAE experience in corporate legal affairs, commercial contracts, and employment law.
- Strong working knowledge of UAE Labour Law and corporate regulations.
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements independently.
- Experience handling legal notices, disciplinary matters, and employment-related documentation.
- Excellent legal drafting and communication skills in English.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working within a corporate group structure will be an advantage.
Preferred Experience
- In-house legal experience within a diversified group or large corporate environment.
- Exposure to corporate governance, compliance, investigations, and regulatory matters.
- Experience supporting HR, Procurement, Finance, and Business Operations functions.
