Position Summary:
Responsible for planning and managing logistics operations for power transformer manufacturing and projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation, storage, and delivery of materials and finished products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate transportation and delivery of materials, components, and transformers.
- Prepare shipping schedules, routing plans, and logistics documentation.
- Ensure proper packaging, handling, and safe transportation of equipment.
- Manage import/export and customs documentation in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs authorities, and government agencies.
- Support warehouse operations, inventory control, and material movement.
- Track deliveries and coordinate with project teams, customers, and subcontractors.
- Support site delivery, installation, and commissioning logistics.
- Monitor logistics KPIs, delivery performance, and transportation costs.
- Implement process improvements for efficiency, safety, and cost reduction.
Requirements:
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Knowledge of customs, shipping, and warehouse operations.
- Experience in heavy equipment or transformer logistics is preferred.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics coordination for electrical equipment, transformers, or heavy industry.
