Credence has an immediate need for a Logistics Manager to support HQ AFMC A4/10 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

The Headquarters Air Force Material Command Directorate of Logistics, Civil Engineering, Force Protection, and Nuclear Integration (HQ AFMC/A4/10) has the AFMC mission responsibility to: shape the workforce and infrastructure to provide logistics, sustainment, and installation support for acquisition logistics, supply management, depot maintenance, and base-level logistics operations, and deliver responsive strategic facility and infrastructure oversight and over-arching direction for all Major Command (MAJCOM) security operations…resulting in war-winning expeditionary capabilities.

Responsibilities

include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

  • Provide full-spectrum security management support—assisting with implementation of information, personnel, physical, industrial, and communications security, resource protection, and force protection programs.
  • Oversee physical, information, industrial, personnel, and operations security programs.
  • Assist with the special security representative duties to open and close SCI facilities as appointed.
  • Assist with building and maintaining standard operating procedures, emergency action plans, and fixed facility checklists in accordance with program requirements.
  • Assist the assigned Government Special Access Program Security Officer (GSSO)/Special Security Representative (SSR) in the annual self-inspection of secure facilities.
  • Provide guidance, recommendations, and assistance to assigned Government program managers, supervisors, employees, and sensitive activities concerning information, industrial, and personnel security matters.
  • Assist with processing Program Access Requests (PAR) for those requiring access to the associated programs in – Assist the Government with management and conduct of enterprise asset management program tasks, which optimizes supply support to the warfighter and its costs
  • Support development of and provide recommendations for changes to supply policy, to include development and maintenance of various automated tools and user guides and handbooks
  • Assist with tracking of and maintain currency of policy and procedural publications
  • Assist with conducting procedural reviews on existing materiel management systems and supply chain processes; develop new procedures and recommend changes for inclusion in AF, DoD, and AFMC supply chain and logistics publications
  • Support the Government with development and implementation of contractor supported weapon system programs, and with integration of peculiar supply support assets for new weapon system and modifications to existing weapon systems into the AF supply support structure utilizing a contractor as the inventory control point and source of supply
  • Assist the Government with ensuring ILS-S objectives are considered on assigned programs and projects
  • Participate in development of plans to ensure comprehensive consideration of all factors that impact SCM
  • Perform AO support from the standpoint of life cycle cost and assist the Government with ensuring optimal use of resources without degrading operational readiness
  • Support coordination and integration of all aspects of logistics management to effectively assist in SCM activities, program development and implementation
