Context:
As the Asst.Manager /Manager– Sales & Marketing at Hotel The Cox Today, you will be responsible for executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth, enhance market presence, and expand our customer base. Working under the guidance of the Director – Sales & Marketing, your role will focus on both B2B and B2C sales across corporate, travel trade, government, and leisure segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed occupancy and revenue targets.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, and event organizers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners in Dhaka and beyond.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform pricing, promotions, and positioning strategies.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns, digital marketing, and brand-building initiatives.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
- Prepare and present regular sales performance reports and forecasts to the Director – Sales & Marketing.
- Work closely with the hotel’s reservations, operations, and revenue management teams to ensure seamless customer experiences and optimal profitability.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and market intelligence.
- The ideal candidate should be goal-oriented, self-motivated, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with proven experience in hotel sales in a competitive market.
- Performs any other duties assigned by the management as when require.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
- Skills Required: Corporate Sales, Travel and Tourism, Corporate Sales and Marketing, Hotel Sales, hotel share sales
Experience Requirements
- 7 to 8 year(s)
Additional Requirements
1.Cox’s Bazar Based Hotel Experience will get preference.
2.Strong communication skills both in Bangla and English.
3.Strong Negotiation skills. Self-motivated, proactive and guest focused team player.
4.Well groomed and healthy. Excellent service mind & well team work.
5.Ability to adapt, grow and learn in a changing and progressive environment.
