IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
This position exists to oversee and manage the various stages of the tendering and procurement process within the relevant domain. This role also involves the primary objective is to ensure effective strategy formulation, vendor selection, procurement planning, and terms and conditions finalization. coordinating and participating in tender openings, evaluations, and negotiations, and handling major contractual issues.
The position requires a high degree of supervision to direct and control these processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with relevant standards. Additionally, the manager prepares detailed summaries and reports on significant contractual issues for submission to superiors.
HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT
- Procurement Plan Prepare a procurement plan in collaboration with finance and the end user
- Savings Achieve the savings target set for the relevant category.
- Compliance: Align the procurement activities with the rules stipulated in JPM, JPP & DoP.
- Efficient and uninterrupted Supply chain Ensure an efficient and uninterrupted supply chain by placing orders and renewing contracts on time.
- Coordination and Follow-up Activities Contract Management: Initiate, check, and follow up with the business support team to finalize and sign contracts, amendments, addendums, and corrigenda. Contract Adherence: Closely monitor contract implementation in coordination with respective departments to ensure contractors adhere to the terms of the agreements. Issue Resolution: Review comments from contractors and respective departments, investigate the issues, discuss with relevant departments/customers as necessary, and resolve minor issues raised.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Qualification
- Engineering or Advanced degree in Business Administration
Skills & Expertise :
- Strong commercial acumen and financial management.
- Deep knowledge of product design, pricing models, and commercialization frameworks.
- Proficiency in market analysis, demand forecasting, and ROI modelling.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership.
- Ability to translate technology into customer and business value.
