JOB PURPOSE
The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving demand generation, customer acquisition, ecosystem engagement, and revenue growth for the National AI Compute Exchange (NACX). The role will develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to promote AI compute services, onboard customers to the platform, and position NACX as Malaysia's preferred marketplace for AI infrastructure and compute resources.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
- Execute sales strategies to achieve NACX revenue and utilization targets.
- Identify, engage, and acquire customers.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline and customer portfolio.
- Conduct customer needs assessments and recommend suitable compute solutions.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements.
- Track sales performance and forecast demand trends.
Marketing & Demand Generation
- Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns to drive awareness and adoption of NACX.
- Create go-to-market plans for new services and platform enhancements.
- Manage digital marketing, content marketing, public relations, and social media initiatives.
- Develop marketing materials, case studies, success stories, and thought leadership content.
- Coordinate product launches, roadshows, webinars, and industry events.
Ecosystem & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build relationships with targeted clients – government machineries, tech companies and industry associations.
- Collaborate with strategic partners on joint marketing and lead-generation activities.
- Represent NACX at conferences, forums, and industry engagements.
- Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support platform improvements.
Customer Success & Adoption
- Support onboarding and activation of new customers.
- Monitor customer engagement and utilization of compute resources.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Work with customer service and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor AI, cloud, data center, and digital infrastructure market trends.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research.
- Prepare regular sales, marketing, and performance reports.
- Track KPIs including customer acquisition, platform utilization, revenue, and campaign effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 7 years of working experience or an experienced individual contributor who has sufficient experience and sound knowledge of particular field.
- Minimum Degree holder in IT/Business/Marketing/Management or related fields.
- Experience in relationship management, business development and/or sales is an advantage.
- Ability to conceptualize ideas, formulate plans, strategies and implements the ideas to fulfill the desired outcome.
- High logical thinking & problem-solving skills.
- Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills.
- Understanding of good domain knowledge of Digital Economy, AI, cloud computing, high-performance computing (HPC), GPUs, and data center ecosystems.
