The Township of Langley is looking for an experienced Manager for its Permits, Licences and Inspections Division. This position is exempt and involves collaborating with the Director to manage licencing processes effectively. Ideal applicants will have considerable experience in regulatory compliance and municipal services, making a significant impact on community development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement division policy and procedures
• Act as Approving Officer for licencing
• Liaise with legal counsel on permits
• Draft and oversee enforcement bylaws
• Generate comprehensive reports for Council
Requirements:
• Grade 12 with post-secondary education in relevant fields
• Five years of experience in municipal regulatory services
• Preferably BOABC Level 3 Qualification
• Bylaw Enforcement certification considered an asset
• Hold a valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License
