JOB PURPOSE

The Partnership Manager will be responsible for building, managing, and expanding the NACX ecosystem by establishing strategic partnerships with AI compute providers, hyperscalers, data center operators, AI solution providers, technology vendors, academia, industry associations, and government agencies. The role will ensure a sustainable supply of AI compute resources while driving demand generation, ecosystem collaboration, and platform growth to position NACX as Malaysia's leading AI compute marketplace.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Partnership Development

  • Execute NACX's partnership strategy aligned with business and national AI objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard AI compute providers, cloud providers, GPU providers, and data center operators.
  • Establish strategic collaborations with technology companies, AI solution providers, and ecosystem partners.
  • Develop partnership frameworks, engagement models, and value propositions.

Supply-Side Ecosystem Development

  • Grow and diversify the pool of compute providers on the NACX platform.
  • Negotiate commercial, technical, and operational agreements with compute providers.
  • Ensure adequate compute capacity to meet market demand.
  • Monitor provider performance and service-level commitments.

Demand-Side Ecosystem Development

  • Collaborate with industry associations, enterprises, startups, universities, and public sector agencies to drive adoption.
  • Facilitate joint initiatives that increase platform utilization and AI adoption.
  • Support the development of sector-specific AI use cases and programs.

Partnership Management

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for strategic partners.
  • Develop account plans and partnership growth roadmaps.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and identify opportunities for collaboration.
  • Resolve partnership issues and drive continuous improvement.

Joint Marketing & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Coordinate co-marketing, thought leadership, and ecosystem development activities with partners.
  • Organize focus groups, workshops, roundtables, and industry engagement sessions.
  • Represent NACX at conferences, forums, and industry events.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor AI infrastructure, cloud computing, and data center market trends.
  • Identify emerging partnership opportunities and ecosystem gaps.
  • Provide recommendations to strengthen NACX's value proposition and competitiveness.

Governance & Reporting

  • Track partnership KPIs and business outcomes.
  • Prepare reports, business cases, and management presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, procurement, and partnership policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Minimum 7 years of working experience or an experienced individual contributor who has sufficient experience and sound knowledge of particular field.
  2. Minimum Degree holder in IT/Business/Marketing/Management or related fields.
  3. Experience in relationship management, business development and/or sales is an advantage.
  4. Ability to conceptualize ideas, formulate plans, strategies and implements the ideas to fulfill the desired outcome.
  5. High logical thinking & problem-solving skills.
  6. Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills.
  7. Understanding of good domain knowledge of Digital Economy, AI, cloud computing, high-performance computing (HPC), GPUs, and data center ecosystems.
