Job Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Lead Generation: we have 2 roles (EPC & Solar Projects)
a. Identify and develop new business opportunities across government, FPOs, HNI investors, and large farmers for agri infrastructure Solar/EPC projects.
b. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of projects including polyhouse, irrigation, solar, and post-harvest infrastructure.
2. Government Tendering & Institutional Sales:
a. Track and identify relevant tenders from government departments, horticulture missions, irrigation departments, post-harvest.
Food processing and solar schemes.
b. Manage end-to-end tendering process including pre-bid participation, documentation, bid submission, and follow-ups.
c. Coordinate with internal teams for technical and commercial inputs for tender submissions.
3. Private Sector & FPO Sales:
a. Engage with FPOs, agri entrepreneurs, corporates, and HNI clients to generate Solar business.
b. Present integrated solutions including farm setup, irrigation, climate control, solar, and supply chain infrastructure.
c. Drive deal negotiations and closures for mid to large-size Solar projects.
4. Strategic Partnerships & Network Development:
a. Build relationships with consultants, DPR agencies, agri advisors, and institutions to generate business leads.
b. Develop partnerships to enhance market reach and project acquisition.
5. International Business Development:
a. Identify and explore opportunities in Africa and Middle East markets for large-scale agri Solar / EPC projects.
b. Coordinate with international agencies and partners for project development and execution.
6. Proposal Development & Solution Selling:
a. Work closely with design and technical teams to develop customized proposals and DPRs.
b. Position the company as an end-to-end EPC solution provider covering design, execution, and automation.
7. Pipeline Management & Reporting:
a. Maintain and track sales pipeline, forecasts, and conversion metrics.
b. Provide regular updates to management on business development activities and project status.
8. Site Visits and Client Coordination:
a. Conduct site visits for client meetings, project discussions, and opportunity assessments.
b. Ensure smooth coordination between client and internal execution teams during project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- BE/BTech/MBA with relevant experience in Business Development, Solar, EPC, Infrastructure, or Agri projects.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in business development, preferably in Solar, agri-infra, irrigation, or solar sectors.
- Strong understanding of government tendering processes and institutional sales.
- Proven track record of closing large value projects (₹5 Cr and above preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including design, finance, and execution.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India and international markets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
